Greetings, Friends!

I’m grateful to Jamuna for giving me the opportunity to write on her site. When she offered the idea it immediately resonated with me, but it also frightened me that it resonated with me. Write a blog every day?

I feel like for a long time now, I’ve de-emphasized results and focused on process. That’s fine. But, I believe that in that time, I also began to fear results. I feared they wouldn’t be good enough because of internal expectations, attachments, and just good old perfectionism. Process became something I was hiding behind.

Now I have an opportunity to move beyond that hiding place and really explore what it means for the process to be the product. This means living out loud after living privately for so long. Why? This is where I feel drawn.

As I begin this journey with all of you, exploring ideas of creativity, inspiration, spirituality, meditation, masala chai, mindful living, and multiple intersections of multiple topics, ideas, and experiences, I’m excited to see what forms and grows.

I think of my life as the foundational and overarching medium of art that I work and play with. Within it, many other art forms exist. Writing, drawing, music, poetry, and meditating, just to name a few.

My intention in this blog is to share both the process and finished product. I see it all as art. All is creativity. All is the Divine.

I am excited and honored to begin this journey today with you.

With Love,

Farhad Desai
