Distribution in Composition

Here is a tool to make your abstracts more meaningful.

Particularly in abstracts, the distribution of elements in the frame facilitates the viewer’s eye across the image.

The eye is drawn quicker towards concentrations and moves slower in sparse areas. Narrow pointed elements tend to create more movement. Groupings of similar colors and shapes can appear as singular areas, while separations can feel like they are floating.
