In Wabi-Sabi for Artists, Designers Poets & Philosophers, Leonard Koren points to a description of Wabi-Sabi by contrasting the ideas to Modernism. He says Wabi-Sabi is “comfortable with ambiguity and contradiction,” whereas Modernism is intolerant of the same.
I see both sides of the fence.
I appreciate the ambiguity of a song
and enjoy the contradiction of a drag queen
but I desire clarity from my doctor.
